Thyrotropin releasing hormone (TRH or protirelin) is a small peptide hormone produced in the hypothalmus. TRH research has shown improvement in thyroid function and it has anti-depressant and anti-suicidal properties. It has been researched for potential benefit in the aging process, feeding behavior, free radical reduction, and regulation of autonomic nervous system.
